Making sure BTF is inclusive and accessible for all
At the BTF 2025 Conference & Festival, we are deeply committed to ensuring that everyone, regardless of ability, can fully participate in and enjoy our event. We believe in creating an inclusive experience for all attendees. To achieve this, we have implemented a range of accessibility provisions:
Captioning: We will provide live captioning for all main stage presentations and key sessions to ensure that attendees who are deaf or hard of hearing can follow along.
British Sign Language (BSL) Interpretation:
Where applicable and upon request, we will arrange for qualified British Sign Language interpreters to be present at specific sessions. Please indicate your need for BSL interpretation during the registration process or contact us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Prayer Rooms: Dedicated prayer rooms will be available throughout the venue, providing a quiet and private space for prayer and reflection. Their locations will be clearly marked in the event guide and on signage.
Accessibility Buddies: We offer an "Accessibility Buddy" service upon request. These dedicated volunteers can provide assistance to individuals with accessibility needs in navigating the event, finding their way around the venue, and offering support as needed. If you would like to request an Accessibility Buddy, please let us know during registration or contact us prior to the event.
Complementary Carer Tickets: We understand that some individuals may require the assistance of a carer to attend the event. Therefore, we offer complementary carer tickets upon request. Please provide the necessary information during registration or contact us directly to arrange this.
Quiet Space: We provide a designated quiet space within the venue. This area will offer a calm and low-sensory environment for attendees who may need a break from the activity of the conference.
