The BTF 2025 Conference & Festival is dedicated to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants, including attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, and staff. We believe that a positive and collaborative atmosphere enhances the experience for everyone. By participating in BTF 2025, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.
Treat all individuals with courtesy, respect, and consideration, regardless of their background, identity, experience, or opinions. This includes being mindful of your words and actions.
Engage in constructive dialogue and be open to different perspectives. Avoid personal attacks, inflammatory language, or any form of harassment.
Embrace diversity and strive to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, valued, and able to participate fully. Be mindful of accessibility needs and offer assistance where appropriate.
Be aware of personal boundaries and respect others' space and privacy. Do not engage in unwanted physical contact or attention.
Take responsibility for your actions and their impact on others. If you witness or experience behaviour that violates this code, please report it.
Adhere to all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by the event organizers and venue staff. This includes respecting session schedules, designated areas, and any safety protocols.
Treat the event venue and its facilities with care and respect.
The following behaviours are considered unacceptable and will not be tolerated at BTF 2025:
This includes, but is not limited to, offensive verbal comments, unwelcome physical contact, sexual attention or advances, intimidation, stalking, or any other behaviour that creates a hostile environment. Any form of discrimination or prejudice against individuals or groups based on any protected characteristic.
Any behaviour that disrupts the flow of the conference, presentations, workshops, or social events, or that interferes with other participants' enjoyment of the event.
The use of offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate language or imagery in any form, including presentations, discussions, social media, or attire.
Any negative action taken against an individual for reporting a violation of this Code of Conduct.
Engaging in any illegal activity or violating the policies of the event venue.
If you experience or witness behaviour that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it immediately to the event organizers or designated staff members. You can do this by:

All reports will be treated seriously and handled with discretion. We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.
Anyone found to have engaged in unacceptable behaviour may be subject to consequences, which may include:
- Verbal warning.
- Removal from the event without refund.
- Ban from future BTF events.
- Reporting to relevant authorities, if necessary.
The BTF 2025 organizers are committed to upholding this Code of Conduct and will take appropriate action to address any violations.
