Paul is an exited Tech Founder, Senior Executive and Strategy Consulting Partner specialising in the media, digital, HRTech and EdTech industries. His current tech platform is Sixley, a SaaS HRTech platform that operates in partnership with the BT Group. Sixley helps organisations engage their staff, communities and extended networks when they hire, asking them to invite in talent, share roles or apply for targeted roles. Prior to Sixley, Paul 50:50 co-founded Boclips, the world’s largest video clip library for learning, that was recently sold to US private equity for high 8-figures. Prior to that, Paul was a leading international strategist to the media and digital industries with 20+ years of experience advising around 100 TV companies, streamers, telcos, digital firms or Governments on launching or turning round channels, services and platforms. He started his career at Telecoms, Media and Technology specialists, Spectrum Strategy Consultants, before taking senior leadership roles as the Head of the Media Practice at Alvarez & Marsal, Co-Head of ITN Consulting and a Board Director of Asia-based ITN Venture Consulting. In the corporate world, he has held CEO-reporting roles at FremantleMedia, ITN and TVNZ and previously headed up the television division for New Zealand’s national fibre plan. He holds an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge where he also led the university’s 1,000 person-strong access scheme, Target Schools.
